This form of yoga teaches that there are four ways to salvation:VivekaDiscrimination: It is about the ability to tell the difference between what is real and what is not real.VairagyaDispassion: It talks about practicing .you should be able to detach yourself from materialistic aspirations.Shad-sampatIt tells about the 6 virtues namely Tranquility, Dama, Uparati, Titiksha, Shraddha, Samadhana.MumukshutvaThis talks about longing for liberation from temporary activities.Ashtanga YogaThe answer for the question "What is ashtanga yoga" can be said in one word as ASHTANGA means eight limbs. This type of yoga seeks to embody the traditional eight limbs of yoga. The biggest difference between this type of yoga and other forms is that this one focuses on vinyasa. Vinyasa focuses on the intelligence. It has a set of well-defined movements which the student has to follow. They are called Suryanamaskara or Sun-salutation. There are different ashtanga yoga postures combined with specific breathing patterns. The purpose of all of this is to create heat in your body and to purify your body.Hatha YogaHatha yoga is also known as Hatha vidya. This is introduced by Yogi Swatmarma in the 15th century in India. Hatha Yoga is mainly practiced for mental, physical health, and vitality.
